un peu de douceur dans ce monde de brutes ! very beautiful hug from Sophie!
nothing is better than a sweet moment with those we love!
hope that Mike will be better!

Chicky days are so much fun! But having Frieda in the hospital is not! Will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Looks like a fun day for you and Sophie! Hope Mike felt better after his joining you two. Prayers continue for Frieda, Mike and all of you. Hang in there!

Looked like Mike needed that hug, hope it did the trick.

My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time. Please know that you are in our prayers.

Chicky days (and Best Buddy days) are always good medicine!

Awwww, the hugs speaks volumes and hope all is well with Freida. Sometimes "Chicky Days" are just meant to be "BFF Days" instead and that is good too.

Prayers going up for all of you to go through this.

How sweet of you and Sophie to give up Chicky Day and let Mike join! I have to tell you that with your descripion of how sad Mike sounded and then that picture of the hug, it brought tears to my eyes!

Thoughts and prayers to you and your family during this time!

Sounds like a wonderful chicky day!
So sorry your DH is down about his mom.....prayers from Nova Scotia for that!!
Take care

Wonderful family day no matter what you call it...chicky day or best bud day...aren't they all special? Hugs

Awwwww... what a sweet moment, and day. Sometimes we have to allow intruders into our Chicky days, especially when they're needing some special comfort.

I hope everything gets much smoother for Frieda and she can come home soon!

So sweeeet!!! Thinking of all of you. I'll have to come down and crash your chicky day one of these times. ha!

I'm with Catherine..pass the kleenex..the next picture of Sophie was almost my breaking point. That child LOVES her BB. LLLLLLY

you are so blessed with your family. it warms my heart and makes me remember fonder days when i see your family and the obvious love you share. :)

I read your blog all the time, but hardly ever comment (I hardly comment on anyone's blogs, so it's not personal!). I have to tell you, I found you because of cross-stitching - but I enjoy your postings about your family SO much! It is so obvious that you all share a great connection! Thank you for sharing your life with us!

Hope the news around Frida will become better. And it's good to have a loving family in sad times. Sophie is a darling. :)

Ahhh... what a sweet post. I'm glad you and Sophie got to spend some 'girl together' time. That food looks delicious... we don't have HuHot in Decorah.

Now I have to say I could have used a hug like that from Sophie, I just recently lost my mom (she was 94) so I know how concerned Mike is, know that prayers are being said on Mike's and his Mom's behalf. BarbM

Oh what a sweetie little miss Sophie is, Mike looked like he needed a hug from his baby. I am so sorry Frieda is not doing well, you know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
