Normally on people-pictures I will pp them for skin tone or light, etc. However, this is a SOOC (straight out of camera) shot of Sophie as she was sleeping this morning. It took me a while to adjust my camera to take her photo bc I kept having to leave the room to adjust my settings so she wouldn't hear the clicking and dialing. When I finally snapped this, the shutter sound made her flinch hard, and I quickly exited the room before she opened her eyes and whined at me for taking her photo unawares.

Anyway, I hadn't planned on taking a photo of her while she was sleeping... but when I saw her looking like my little baby girl, I simply couldn't resist.

P.S. Now I understand why the 85mm is such a well-loved portrait lens. I've never really had the opportunity to appreciate it before this morning, as most photos I take are done very quickly so I don't annoy my girls to death!
