Autumn is almost here, and to escort in the new season, the small wild sunflowers have made their appearance behind the fence in my back yard. What a lovely greeting in the mornings! In some places here in Omaha, they grow by the thousands, and the sea of yellow is a spectacular sight. (And they're almost as pretty as the mammoth ones that are grown by the millions in Kansas - now THAT'S something to behold!) (Kathy Barrick, you would be in heaven!)
